"We're dancing in the streets."
Well, not actually in the streets, but in a pretty awesome dance studio.
I'm truly excited to begin dancing there.
It's called Dance FX Dance Studio.
I think I have decided to take modern and ballet.
If I have to choose one, it will definitely be modern.
Modern dance excites me; because it seems graceful like ballet, but the moves are more intense.
The reason, you may ask, for my found again need to dance, that's simple.
My reason is that after doing "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and having to dance every day for the play, I had a sudden epiphany of how much I loved my dance classes when I was younger.

I know this will require much work, but I'm willing.
This may seem unrealistic, but every day over the summer that I am in Athens, I will be dancing for at least 3 hours a day.

If my calculations are correct, I shall be flexible, again, and will able to call myself a dancer.

I figured since I bashed Athens in the last post, I might write something redeeming.

It happens to be about a restaurant named The Grit.
The Grit is a vegetarian restaurant on Prince Avenue. This has recently become my favorite restaurant. If you're not a vegetarian and don't like tofu, seitan, etc., you'll still love it, I PROMISE you. While, yes, I am a vegetarian, so I'm kind of biased, every one who I take there, is a full on meat-eater, and they love it.

Some things I would recommend are:
Pita Pizza
Tofu Reuban Sandwich (I usually get a side of broccoli with peanut sauce)
Mondo Burrito
The Smelt
Pumpkin Curry Soup

(Everything there is so good, though. Try something new.)

Of course, I'll mention the desserts.
I've only had the vegan cakes there, because I love vegan food and it's hard to make, but the cakes are delicious.

My three favorite are:
The Grasshopper ("Chocolate" with Mint Icing)
Death By Chocolate (The Name is Obvious)
Lemon Poppyseed

Keep in mind, since they are vegan, they have no animal byproducts--eggs, milk...

Here is a map going to the Grit from the Classic Center.
Lastly, if you wanted to view a current menu from the Grit, check out:

All Because of Athena...
I live in a crappy town.
It isn't totally her fault, but since Athens is named after her, I thought she'd be an easy target.

One day, hopefully soon, I'll leave this town filled with people, whom, for the majority, I'm not too fond of.

Yes, I know, wherever I go, it'll seem nice at first, but sooner or later, I will once again find those people that I am not fond of.

What a terrible situation.

Thanks a lot Athena.

It feels like yesterday I went to see her dance at a performance. It's truly scary and exciting for me to think that Carrie is married. Exciting due to the fact that Charlie is a great guy and I know he loves her and she loves him; it amazes how perfectly made they are for each other. Scary due to the fact that life is passing by so quickly, and (hopefully) I'll be the next to get married after Carrie, it seems so surreal. I do hope that when I do meet Mr. Right, that he and I will share the same love and passion towards one another as I see in Carrie and Charlie. When Carrie looks at Charlie, she has this certain smile and a glow in her eyes that I never see otherwise. And when Charlie looks at Carrie, I think it's the sweetest thing I have ever seen, he looks at her with respect and love; two things that sadly are not as common as they used to be.
So, here's to Charlie and Carrie, may happiness always be with you, and may love always fill your hearts.

I would also like to add that I have made some changes to my view of love.
I
no longer believe in the statement "Love is not a victory march, it's a cold, and it's a broken hallelujah."
I
now believe that love does exist, and the day you realize you found it, is the happiest day of your life.
